PowerPod In-Depth Review | DC Rainmaker

As a somewhat data junkie, I’ve drawn the line at using power meters just based on their exceptionally high cost, and at a point I feel with my current Garmin Edge 1000 using Heart Rate gives me more that enough data.

That said I have to admit I’ve always been intrigued about seeing what my power output is as opposed to simply my heart rate, and after reading this review on DCRainmaker.com I’m almost tempted to save my pennies for a PowerPod at $299.

The upside are; price, size and what appears to be ease of installation.

The downside; yet another device to put on the handlebars with my Garmin Edge 1000 my soon t0 arrive Fly12 camera.
